Lantech Care Product Warranty Statement

Lantech Communications Global Inc. is devoted to deliver harsh network solutions to the fiber optic world and has won affirmative recongntion from our global customers. We primarily concentrate on Design, Sales/Marketing, Support, Logistic of Industrial and Fiber networking solution via value-added distributors to service system integrators' need for applications of Transportation, Military, Oil & Gas, Offshore Platform, FTTX, MDU/MTU, Telco CO/POP, Traffic Control, IP Video Surveillance and Factory Automation. “Quality “and “Service" are our main business.

Lantech products are manufacturered in ISO9001/2000 factory and complied with “DIRECTIVE 2002/95/EC of the EUROPEAN AND OF THE COUNCIL" of 27 January 2003 on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (hereinafter Directive of “RoHS”).

Lantech warrants our products to be free from manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years from the date of delivery for regular business switches and converters excluding power and fan for 1 year while 5 years for Industrail switches and converters (unless otherwise specified). Product defects, malfunctions, or failures caused by Force Majeure(flood, fire, storm etc) or exceeding working temperature specified in SPEC are not within warranty coverage. Incorrect cabling, misuse, abuse or unauthorized repair are not warranted.

Distributors & System Integrators must obtain a RMA(Return Merchandise Authorization) number before sending the defects back to Lantech Taiwan for repair. Any defective item returned without RMA number, Lantech has rights to reject or not repair at its own choice. In the event of product not able to be repaired due to component shortage, Lantech could replace with the equivalent item at discreet.

Distributors & System Integrators will bear one way freight charge to return RMA back and Lantech will bear another one way freight charge to send to distributors & S/I. Please expect the RMA leadtime 2-4 weeks.

For defective items over warranty, we will charge the component & repairing fee depending on the product situation. There is no flat fee for such warranty service. The products have to be sent back to check which part is broken before quoting such fee. Still, Distributors and System Integrators must obtain RMA no.in prior to send them back to Taiwan.
